SharePoint & Liferay Technical Lead needed for the evolution of our clients organisation's enterprise content and collaboration platforms. You will be providing Technical and strategic leadership across enterprise content management platform (Liferay), Enterprise AI Search, Intranet, records management and related integration services making sure that solutions are secure, scalable, user-centred and aligned by the organisations priorities.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Lead the delivery of application development projects using SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Liferay, from planning and design through development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap and architecture for enterprise content management, collaboration, intranet, document management, and records management platforms.
• Design, implement, modernise, and manage Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for Enterprise AI Search and Microsoft Copilot solutions.
• Support the design and use of Azure services for identity, integration, automation, and application hosting.
• Maintain architecture documentation, promote knowledge sharing, ensure operational readiness, and drive continuous improvement across the platform portfolio.

Required Skills/Experience

• Experience designing, implementing, administering, and governing Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, and related enterprise collaboration technologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online, including collaboration, document management, intranet, governance, security, and platform administration.
• Good understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI applications and hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for enterprise search, including index design, vector search, semantic search, and developing connectors for SharePoint and Liferay.
• Experience administering Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating and testing new features before release.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end application development projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, vendor management, and transition to support.
• Support the Information Technology Governance Committee (ITGC) by working with stakeholders on new proposals, reviewing documentation, and contributing to CIO presentations.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Experience with Azure services, including identity management, integration, application hosting, automation, security, monitoring, and cloud governance.
• Microsoft certifications are desirable.
