We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role plays a key part in shaping engineering standards, architectures, and tooling, while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

You will lead end-to-end delivery-from requirements and design through development, testing, release, and production support-using agile, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery practices. Acting as a technical consultant and strategist, you will influence engineering decisions, ensure solutions align with business needs, and mentor other engineers.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with deep engineering fundamentals, able to work across technologies and domains. You will champion best practices such as automated testing, code reviews, and performance optimisation, while collaborating closely with Product Owners, architects, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Expert knowledge of software engineering principles, architecture, and DevOps practices

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills

• Experience delivering frequent, low-risk production releases in agile environments

• Ability to articulate technical vision to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Passion for mentoring engineers and driving innovation
