Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our enterprise global data analytics clients! They are currently looking for a skilled SQL Data Analyst to join their team for an initial 12 month contract.
The Reporting & Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate reporting, analysing business and operational data, and supporting the development of key performance metrics used to measure organisational performance. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity, identifying trends and anomalies, and providing insights that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and distribute departmental reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Create and execute SQL queries and other data extraction methods to fulfil customer and business data requests.
- Analyse data to identify trends, performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, and reporting issues.
- Develop, evaluate, and report on key performance metrics in line with company standards and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams, data warehouse teams, and third-party system vendors to support reporting requirements and maintain production environments.
- Support programme-specific population identification and overall reporting processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting platforms.
Required Skills:
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and reporting tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos, Business Objects, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in reporting, systems analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics preferred.
