Salary/Rate: £363 per day inside ir35
Start Date: 30/03/2026- 31/08/2026
Job Type: 6-month contract- may be extended

We have an exciting new contract opportunity with one of the big players in the UK banking sector.

We are looking for an experienced Lead System Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to support large-scale infrastructure and network integration programmes within a major banking environment.

This role will lead the analysis and definition of technical requirements across infrastructure change initiatives, with a strong focus on network services, DNS/Infoblox migrations, and data centre/cloud transformation.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical BA experience within infrastructure environments, including cloud migration and data centre projects.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead the analysis and documentation of infrastructure and network integration requirements for complex change initiatives.

• Capture and define technical requirements across network services, DNS, and infrastructure platforms.

• Support DNS / Infoblox migration activities and related network service transitions.

• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and technical SMEs to ensure accurate end-to-end system integration requirements.

• Produce clear system analysis artefacts and maintain traceability between business needs and technical solutions.

• Manage personal deliverables while ensuring alignment to programme timelines and milestones.

• Identify technical risks and dependencies and contribute to mitigation planning.

• Facilitate technical workshops and stakeholder discussions across infrastructure and project teams.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst / System Analyst within infrastructure delivery projects.

• Demonstrated experience working on data centre migrations and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Solid understanding of network integration, including routing, switching, and connectivity concepts.

• Experience supporting DNS migrations and Infoblox (or similar network management platforms).

• Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation and analysis artefacts.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

• Ability to work independently within a highly technical environment.

• Good knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Exposure to enterprise cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

• Experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tooling.

• Relevant network or infrastructure certifications (e.g., CCNA, Infoblox).
