We are currently supporting a prestigious international law firm as they continue to deliver a large-scale global technology transformation programme across cloud, AI, enterprise platforms, infrastructure, and outsourced technology services.

As part of this programme, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technology Security Architect to join their security and transformation function. This position will play a key role in ensuring new technologies, SaaS platforms, AI solutions, and third-party services are securely assessed, onboarded, and implemented across a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on architecture role, working closely with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, operations, and external suppliers to ensure security is embedded throughout the full delivery lifecycle rather than operating purely from a governance perspective.

The environment is fast-moving and business critical, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating within complex enterprise transformation programmes.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead security architecture activities across a range of enterprise technology and transformation initiatives
• Assess and support the secure onboarding of new technologies, cloud platforms, AI solutions, SaaS applications, and third-party services
• Work closely with infrastructure, engineering, cloud, and operational teams to embed security controls throughout implementation and delivery
• Provide security guidance across architecture, design, deployment, and operational phases of projects
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and operational security activities where required
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment with security standards and best practice
• Contribute to the development and improvement of enterprise security architecture frameworks and controls
• Review technical solutions and identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and remediation approaches
• Ensure security considerations are integrated into wider transformation and change programmes
• Engage with senior business and technical stakeholders across multiple workstreams and initiatives

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven experience operating as a Security Architect, Technology Security Architect, or Security Lead within enterprise environments
• Strong experience onboarding new technologies and platforms from a security perspective
• Previous exposure to cloud, AI, SaaS, or enterprise-wide technology transformation programmes
• Good understanding of operational security, threat monitoring, incident response, and security operations
• Experience working across both architecture design and hands-on technical delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working within highly regulated or business-critical organisations
• Strong understanding of security best practices across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise environments
• Previous experience within legal services or professional services environments would be advantageous
• Familiarity with enterprise security tooling and platforms including:
• Splunk
• CrowdStrike
• Microsoft Security Stack
• Cloud security technologies
• Identity & Access Management platforms
