Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Trade Settlement Analyst to join their asset management client in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The Fund & Life Operations team is responsible for Post-Execution Trade Management across multiple Asset Classes Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Money Market, Exchange Traded and OTC Derivatives. The team is responsible for several regulatory reporting tasks and acts as point of contact for queries relating to Trade Events, Valuation, Documentation, Reporting and Reconciliations issue resolution. The successful candidate will ensure timely trade settlement and failing trade process as well as account set ups.

  • The successful candidate will have the responsibility for ensuring timely trade settlement across multiple asset types (Equity, Fixed Income and FXs)
  • Processing and resolving failed trades as well as CSDR penalties
  • Perform data reporting and analysis to assist in the development of business, financial and regulatory reports as well as general data analysis to support change and Management reporting.
  • Identifying areas for improvements and implement changes where necessary in relation to industry standards, commercial viability, and ensuring the changes are fit for purpose.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • The candidate will have 5 years? relevant experience combined with a background in middle or back office within an asset or fund manager.
  • Knowledge and some experience in dealing with the following asset types: Equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, FX and Exchange Traded Derivatives will be a distinct advantage.
  • Smart, hardworking and highly collaborative individual with the ability to efficiently interact with all levels within the company (from entry level trainees through to senior managers).
  • A systematic approach to problem solving; ability to analyse problems and trace them to their root causes
  • Organised individual who can self-manage multiple priorities, routine work and urgent issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is focused on resolving issues quickly.
  • Appropriate 3rd Level Qualification.
