Job Title: Transfer Agency Project Manager (HK/Taiwan)

Location: Hong Kong w/ ad hoc travel to Taiwan
Duration: 18-24 Month Contract
Client: Global bank via Consultancy
Level: GCB4 / Senior Manager Equivalent

Budget: $6000-6600HKD per day (Contractor day rate, no added benefits or bonuses)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with specialist knowledge of Taiwan Transfer Agency (TA) services to support a high-profile client onboarding programme for a global bank.

This role will focus on leading the end-to-end onboarding of a US-based asset manager onto a Taiwan TA platform. Given the nuances of the Taiwan market, prior experience delivering similar TA onboarding projects within Taiwan is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project management of a TA onboarding programme for a US-based asset manager
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, technology, and client stakeholders
• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Act as the primary point of contact between client & banks
• Ensure smooth integration onto a Taiwan TA platform
• Drive stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee governance, reporting, and delivery against agreed objectives

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Transfer Agency (TA) environments
• Direct experience with Taiwan TA (essential)
• Demonstrated track record of client onboarding onto Transfer Agency platforms, ideally within Taiwan
• Strong understanding of asset management operations and fund services
• Experience managing complex, cross-border projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate at Senior Manager level

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working with Transfer Agency platforms
• Background in consulting or working within large financial institutions
• Experience onboarding US-based asset managers
