Truck Driver - Press Boring (Auger Boring Operations)
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Press Boring to support auger boring operations across Germany. In this role, you will ensure the safe and timely transport of machinery, pipe systems, and construction materials to active job sites, playing a key part in the successful delivery of press boring and pipe jacking projects.
This is a permanent position within a mobile construction crew working on infrastructure projects nationwide.
You will be working on large-scale infrastructure and tunnelling-related projects delivered for a leading European civil engineering contractor known for high technical standards, strong project delivery, and complex underground construction works.
These are well-organised, safety-focused sites involving modern auger boring systems and demanding logistics operations.
Project Information
- Location: Nationwide, Germany
- Working schedule: approx. 48 hours per week (5-day week)
- Occasional Saturday work depending on project requirements
- Strong commitment to project completion required
Your Responsibilities
- Transport of auger boring machines, jacking pipes, steel pipes, and construction materials to and from site locations
- Operation of trucks, articulated lorries, and specialist transport vehicles in line with project logistics plans
- Safe loading, unloading, and securing of all transported equipment in compliance with legal and safety regulations
- Support on-site logistics, including material distribution and site setup assistance
- Routine inspection, maintenance, and basic servicing of assigned vehicles
- Compliance with all traffic laws, site safety rules, and occupational health standards
- Accurate documentation of deliveries, transport logs, and working hours
- Close cooperation with site crews, dispatch teams, and project management
Your Profile
- Valid CE driving licence and driver card
- Experience in construction transport, heavy haulage, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong understanding of load securing and site logistics
- Basic mechanical and technical awareness of construction machinery
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to travel and work at different project locations
- Team-oriented with a professional and safety-conscious attitude
