Job Title: Oracle Cloud AI Engineer
Location: Remote
Start Date: January

Oracle Cloud AI Engineer needed to join leading customer in London.

This is a hands-on role, focused on building and demonstrating AI, Machine Learning, and analytics proof-of-concepts using Oracle Cloud technologies. The ideal profile blends Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), AI/ML on OCI, and backend development. This role remote and inside IR35.

• Design, build, and demonstrate AI, ML, and GenAI proof-of-concept solutions
• Deliver AI-driven reporting and analytics using Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Develop backend services and integrations to support AI and analytics workloads
• Implement Generative AI patterns, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Work with Oracle OCI AI services to build applied AI solutions
• Tune and optimise AI applications for training and inference
• Collaborate with distributed delivery teams and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with the Oracle Cloud technology stack, including:
• Autonomous Data Warehouse
• Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
• Oracle AI / Generative AI services
• Proven backend development experience delivering complex, high-scale systems

Hands-on experience with AI / ML and Generative AI, including some of:

• OCI Language, Speech, Vision
• AI Agents
• GenAI / LLM-based solutions
• Experience implementing or supporting RAG architectures
• Understanding of AI model tuning and optimisation, including LLM fine-tuning
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and delivery methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in secure or regulated cloud environment

Desirable Experience

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Oracle Integration Cloud
• Oracle APEX development
• Data migration experience in Oracle environments (ERP / Fusion exposure advantageous)
